Klein Constantia is most well known for their sweeter wines, producing some of the world’s best dessert wines thanks to the surrounding cool Constantia climate and ideal terroir of vines that lie in decomposed granite soils.

It is interesting to unveil the rich history of the Klein Constantia estate, which dates back to the year 1685 when the farmland was first purchased – by the 18th century this estate was known as Constantia’s Vin de Constantia and was popular among leaders and aristocracy for its naturally sweet wines.
