Although the true Long Street experience is best discovered on an evening over the weekend when the city really comes to life, many of Long Streets cafes, restaurants and pubs are open from about midday onwards over weekdays, and cater to those who are on holiday or have some days off to enjoy in the vibrant city of Cape Town.
