The Knysna Elephant Park offers guests the opportunity to get up-close and enjoy special encounters with these gentle giants, safely and in one of the best captive elephant facilities worldwide. There are a number of activities aimed at providing visitors with unforgettable experiences. These majestic elephants enjoy the freedom to choose where they move, what they want to eat, as well as also choosing who they want to interact with, while there are also no fences between guests and elephants. With the park on everyday of the year, you will be able to visit and become acquainted with on of South Africa's big 5 regardless of the season of your vacation. Many of these stunning animals have been rescued and are now well cared for in this enclosure, which has been dedicated to caring for elephants for 2 decades already. There is an on-site research centre to be discover, an interpretation centre as well as a photo and video department.
