Set on 12 hectares at the heart of the Garden Route just minutes from Plettenberg Bay and Knysna, this delightful 3 star graded owner managed property welcomes guests seeking a restful and tranquil getaway, the name "Masescha" meaning hidden or masked being quite appropriate as we are nestled in a valley free of road noise where often the only accompaniment is the song of the birds and a gently whispering breeze.
On offer is the privacy of guests own fully equipped cosy cottage or garden apartment to suit all budgets, all being well separated throughout the garden and each having their own individual character, patios and brick built braai facilities, nestled in established open gardens. There are 2 cottages available and 3 garden apartments available.
Providing clean, well equipped accommodation fully supplied with all the conveniences of home. Heaters/hot water bottles/blankets/fans available seasonally as required. All linen, showering towels, toiletries, provided throughout together with a welcome selection of tea and coffee for guests arrival. A basic daily maid service is offered with the exception of Sundays and public holidays.
Take a cooling dip in the large swimming pool, a meander through the garden around the picturesque water dams and down to the river, abundant bird watching, fishing, free WiFi internet access is available on site, laundry facility available and charges apply.

The ground floor offers the main bedroom with a queen sized bed, safety deposit box, hairdryer and an en suite. By way of a short steep staircase from the lounge area is a loft bedroom with two single beds and one additional single sized mattress can be supplied for a 5th person on request and an extra charge applies.
This room opens onto a balcony above the deck at treetop level giving fantastic views over the gardens, dams and forest and an idyllic hideaway spot to read a book with a glass of wine or watch the birds.
Free WiFi internet access is available up at reception and around the main deck area.

Sunbird Cottage

A light, bright, modern style brick cottage nestled in its own private enclosed furnished patio garden with brick built braai facility.
It is possible to provide an additional single bed for a 3rd person on request (please note that access to the en suite facilities is via the bedroom only). The lounge leads through to the separate bedroom with a queen size bed, fitted wardrobe with draws and a hairdryer through to the en suite shower room with a toilet.
Sunbird overlooks the swimming pool and is accessed on the right hand side as guests enter the property. Free WiFi internet access is available within this cottage.

This modern and comfortable room is located in the main house with private access. Perfect for couples but also suitable as a family room or guests requiring separate beds there is a queen sized bed and a single bed, hairdryer, en suite shower room with toilet, DSTV and sofa.
This is not a fully self catering room but it does offer coffee and tea making facilities, kettle, microwave and fridge with its own brick built braai facility right outside for which crockery can be provided. Free WiFi internet access is available within this room.

Important Information
- Balance of payments must be settled on or before arrival.
- December/January bookings balance to be paid a minimum of 7 days before arrival.
- One night bookings 100% will be charged as deposit.
- Plett Rage Matric Festival a security/damage deposit will be charged which is refundable should no damage occur.
- Pets by prior request only (not accommodated in peak times) additional charges may be applicable.
- Catering options at an additional fee on request subject to availability and must be pre booked in advance. (Not available on public holidays)
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations: 0 to 7 days before arrival date or no show: total amount of the booking is payable.
- Cancellations: 8 to 30 days before arrival date: 50% of the booking is payable.
- Cancellations: 31 days and over: 35% of the booking is payable.
- No refunds December/January bookings and dates cannot be transferred.
- Charges incurred will be deducted from the total refund value.
