Away from the hustle and bustle of town this tranquil forest retreat is perfect for the honeymooner, the romantic couple, the family needing a break, or the perfect destination for a group breakaway or family reunion. On offer are rustic fully equipped self-catering cabins sleeping from 2 to 9 guests. All cabins are fully equipped with linen, towels, cutlery, crockery, a fridge, stove and microwave. 5 of the 6 cabins have Jacuzzi baths. The 6th, a two bedroom unit overlooking the dam, has en-suite showers. Each cabin has an outside braai area.
Activities on the property include hiking, bird-watching and swimming in the river. For the adrenaline junkies, Plett Forest Cabins offers discount vouchers for a number of activities in the area, including Tsitsikamma Falls Adventures, AfriCanyon and Tsitsikamma Canopy Tours. For family outings, Plett Forest Cabins offer discount vouchers to see the Elephants, Monkeyland, Birds of Eden and the wild cats at Teniqua and Jukani.

Honeymoon Cabin

There are two private Honeymoon Cabins - Blackwood and Bluegum with Jacuzzi spa baths that are tucked away under the forest canopy overlooking the pool.
Each of the cabins feature a queen size bed, bed linen and towels.
Tucked away in the loft are 2 single beds for children suggested 5 years to 12 years as the beds are accessed via a ladder.
There are outdoor braai facilities with seating. Blackwood has an extra balcony overlooking the river and forest.

Family Cabin

The Family cabin Lemon is ideal for a larger family or for two families to share.
TheLemon Cabin is private and overlooks the dam. The cabin is facing the forest and is located close to the pool.
One of the bedrooms features a queen size bed with one single bed, one bedroom also featues 3 x single beds and there is a full sized sleeper couch for extra guests. Each bedroom has a shower en-suite. Bedding and towels provided. All the rooms are linked by the external deck.
The separate kitchen and lounge area is fully equipped. The deck has extra seating and outdoor braai facilities are provided.

Banana, Olive and Fig are our private self-catering 2 bedroom cabins nestled in front of the forest.
Each of the cabins feature 2 bedrooms comprising of a queen size bed and 2 three quarter beds, both share a bathroom with a Jacuzzi bath. Bedding and towels are provided.
A full size sleeper couch is provided in the lounge area for extra guests. Each has a deck with seating and outdoor braai facilities, braai grids are supplied.

Important Information
- Balance of payment due 10 days before arrival.
- Pets not allowed.
- No smoking in rooms.
- Fallow Deer are not to be approached or chased, children may assist with feeding the Deer in the late afternoons.
- Guests found harming any of the animals will be evicted immediately.
- No music this is a peaceful forest sanctuary.
- TV and DVD players in cabins, no TV reception in cabins DVDs and board games on loan a refundable deposit is applicable.
- Sleeping cot available to hire on a first come first served basis.
- First bundle of braai wood free, thereafter braai wood available for sale.
- Fires only to be made in designated braais outside cabins.
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations 30 days in advance 90% of deposit returned.
- No refunds for cancellations less than 30 days in advance.
