Guests who enjoy time at the Meerkat Magic Conservation centre have the opportuntiy to meet these wild and wonderful creatures and dicover the mysteries behind South Africa's elusive Meerkat. Enjoy scenic and guided tours through Oudtshoorn's fauna and flora and come across these friendly faces popping up along the way – many times, these tours take place early in the morning and it may take a while to see Meerkats as they peek out of their homes in their natural habitats, but once they do it is totally worth it when they emerge bright eyes from their burrows. Sip on a warm South African style coffee in the veld and fresh mountain air, as experienced guides share some stories and talk about the many struggles these creatures face on a daily basis. It is not unusual for these cute and somewhat cheeky little creatures to come within feet from visitors and strut their stuff.
