The award winning Mullineux & Leeu Family Winery in Franschhoek has managed to put forward amazing wines of a world-class standard, even though the exact setting of the farm is not the easiest for the production of wines. Roundstone farm, on the winery grounds, is where Mullinuex follows its reasoned farming approach, where guests are invited to experience the beauty of a local and family run farm first hand, open for amazing wine tastings by appointment – only on Fridays. Mullineux & Leeu Family Wines counts on the area’s granite and schist based terriors and the old vineyards of the Swartland region to allow their production of truly exceptional wines. Established in 2007 and has since become one of South Africa’s most celebrated wine brands, with recognition from overseas and local wine lovers.
