Merindol Manor is one of the oldest houses in the Valley. The Riebeek Valley is in the heart of Swartland, a wine-producing region very well known for its Shiraz and Chenin wines. The Valley comprises of more than 15 independent wine growers and several producers of olive oil.
Accommodation is offered in four luxurious rooms each with their own en-suite bathroom. Each room features a 4 poster queen size bed with Eqyptian cotton linen. In-room facilities include a TV, a fridge, a safe, a hairdryer, an espresso machine, tea making facilities, WiFi and access to the library.
The house was largely renovated by the previous owners and the gardens which are extremely beautiful were created by a local nursery. There are olive and fruit trees and home grown vegetables. The guesthouse aims to offer homemade produce to guests which includes yoghurt, pancakes and French toast. The hens produce free range eggs for homemade cookies and breakfast.
