Serving an exceptional quality standard of food, produced by Zahir Mohamed who was previously a chef featured on the popular TV show MasterChef SA, The Baked Bistro has become a crowd favourite in the beautiful and elite beach front area of Bakoven, in Cape Town.
The Baked Bistro is a welcoming and casual restaurant, with a friendly and homely ambiance, dark wooden tables and even a bicycle hanging from the wall among the paintings to add to the lofty and fun atmosphere. The menu offers freshly baked goods, made with love and care. Speciality breads such as sourdough, rye, baguettes and ciabatta are very popular here and are all handmade on-site using an old fashioned Eureka Mills and non-GMO Flour as well as 45 year old levains to ensure that the textures are unique and flavourful. With Origin brand coffee on offer, and some interesting drinks such home made lemon juice with freshly squeezed pineapple, chilla and mint, your taste buds will be skyrocketed to the next level. The menu consists of crispy based pizza's, fresh salads, and wholesome wraps to mention a few options.
