One of UK’s top-selling reggae bands, UB40, is coming to South Africa! Tickets went on sale a few days ago on Tuesday, the 31st of May.
Three of the original founding members of the band will return, Ali, Astro and Mickey, and perform many of their hits that have made them famous over the years. UB40 has been making music since 1978, with 50 of their singles making it onto the UK Singles Chart, like Red Red Wine, Falling in Love with You, Here I Am (Come and Take Me), I Got You (featuring Chrissie Hynde) and Kingston Town, while the band has enjoyed a successful international career.
The band has changed a lot during its 38-year run, but you can still expect to hear all your favourites with UB40 landing in the country later this year in November. They will perform at 4 concerts during their South African tour, in Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, Durban and Johannesburg.
