Nestled in the heart of the fisherman’s village of Paternoster, Karibu is a lovely 6-sleeper holiday home where guests can embrace the coastal charm of this quaint beach town, making lasting memories.

Karibu is thoughtfully designed for your comfort and located close to the beach, local shops and popular restaurants. The home offers 3 big spacious rooms furnished with queen-size beds and full or shower-only bathrooms.

The inviting open-plan living area opens onto a covered stoep with a built-in braai and outdoor dining area overlooking the front yard and lawn. The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove, oven, microwave and a fridge. For added convenience, a washing machine, tumble dryer and a dishwasher is available. The lounge areas offer comfortable seating, one of which has a TV and a cosy fireplace for the colder days or evenings, opening to the patio.

The backyard features a firepit and the enclosed property offers secure parking but use of the garage is not included in the rental.

Koos Nap is a charming, semi-detached cottage located only 30 m from the beach in Paternoster. Paternoster is one of the oldest fisherman's villages on the West Coast of South Africa and boasts a cultural experience like no other.

This cottage offers 2 bedrooms and can accommodate up to 4 guests. The main bedroom is furnished with a double bed while the second room has twin beds. The shared bathroom is fitted with bath, shower, basin, and toilet.

This unit comprises an open-plan kitchen, lounge and dining room. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, microwave, and tea- and coffee-making facilities, as well as an indoor braai facility. The lounge offers a TV with the DStv Stay package.

For those who enjoy captivating displays of locally produced artworks, a visit to Paternoster’s Stone Fish Studio will be a real treat. The Stone Fish studio and Art Gallery is very charming, located in an old white wash building that seemingly blends into its seaside surroundings. This old building is one with a rich history that dates back to the year 1863 when it was first constructed and served the community as a mill, after which the building became the village bio scope and then for a long time, storage for the Paternoster fisheries.

Of course, the Stone Fish gallery is mostly lined with art pieces by Western Cape’s creative artists, ranging from intricate and beautiful sculptures and pottery pieces, to a working studio belonging to Dianne Heesom-Green. There are also regular workshops arranged here by well known South African artists such as Andries Gouws, Theo Paul Vorster and Andre Jacobs – these team building events and art classes are very enjoyable and open to all who wish to partake. The Stone Fish Studio also provides visitors with a lovely wi-fi lounge, where keeping in touch and browsing the net can be enjoyed over a fresh cup of coffee by Origin Coffee.
