Verdun Country House is a lovely villa nestled on a working horse estate set on the outskirts of Franschhoek, a quaint town in the Cape Winelands. Set in a landscape characterised by deep purple mountains and endless vineyards, Franschhoek is often referred to as the food and wine capital of the country.

This villa can accommodate 10 guests and comprises 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The main bedroom contains a king-size bed and its en-suite bathroom is fitted with a bath, shower and double basin. The second bedroom is furnished with 2 single beds and makes use of the main bedroom's bathroom. The third bedroom contains a double bed and has an en-suite shower which is shared with the fourth bedroom. The fourth bedroom is furnished with twin single beds. Keerweder is the oldest farm in Franschhoek, proclaimed in 1692 by the VOC. The first owner, Heinrik Muller from Basel, laid the foundation for this historic estate. Keerweder has maintained its legacy as a commercial farm, exporting its produce worldwide while preserving its historical roots.

In the center of the Cape Winelands Region is the relatively small village of Klapmuts, which is located just off the R45 between Kraaifontein and Paarl.
