Gordons Bay is a dock town in the Helderberg region, with a unique mountain featuring the initials "GB" on each side, a blue flag beach and a wide selection of attractions for a memorable stay along the coast.
The town features a waterfront, with a bay set against the Helderberg mountains, meaning a sheltered and alluring cove with a promenade consisting of restaurants, fish shops, coffee bars, as well as a wealth of water-based activities. One of the main attractions of Gordon's Bay is Bikini, which enjoys Blue Flag status, a popular spot for volleyball, surfing and sunbathing. There is additionally the main beach, with the gentler waters coming from the Atlantic Ocean, ideal for the whole family.
Additional activities include the Helderberg wine route, with 25 different estates, whale watching, with vantage points between Gordons Bay and Betty's Bay and at Steenbras dam, sunset cruises from the harbour and so much more. Gordon's Bay is about a 40-minute drive from the Cape Town City Centre.
