The popular Beaches restaurant lies along the Shoreline and facing the gorgeous Atlantic Ocean, in an old home that was converted into this now well known and loved eatery. With Yzerfontein’s pristine and unspoiled 16 mile beach stretching out for miles and gentle waves crashing into the soft sea sand, diners will be in awe of their surroundings while feasting and celebrating great food. One of the defining characteristics of Beaches restaurant is the brightly coloured umbrellas on the sheltered porch, in colours like blue, green, yellow and orange. Natural sun and warmth embraces guests, while the beach vibes are extended inside the restaurant, which is adorned with white wash tables and chairs, striped curtains and sunshine yellow tablecloths. It is no surprise the main cuisine on offer at Beaches Restaurant is seafood – what better way to indulge in freshly prepared fish, succulent shellfish and flavourful calamari than right along the seaside, with a crisp glass of South African wine in hand. Beaches restaurant also focuses on other dishes to ensure that everyone leaves fulfilled, from wonderful poultry and meat dishes to lighter lunches like traditional samoosas, spring rolls and mussels.
