Three Anchor Bay beach is to be found at the union of Green Point and Sea Point, just a mere 10-minute drive out of Cape Town's City Bowl District. Ideally, this beach is the usual start out paddle place for sea kayakers that eventually end up on the waves of Clifton. The Sea Point Pavilion is a treat for visiting families to enjoy during some of Cape Towns hottest months (usually between November and February), and is well kept and cared for.

Other than the large main swimming pool, there is also a diving pool, fun pool and a more shallow kiddies pool. During the busy times and throughout school holidays and peak seasons, there are lifeguard's on duty.
