The Blue Train Park

The Blue Train Park is situated in the stunning ocean facing area of Mouille Point and is ideally located to offer visitors some beautiful views of Table Mountain, Lions Head and also of Signal Hill, or even views of Robbin Island from across the Atlantic Ocean. For an amazing adventure in the fresh air and sunshine, families with kids gather here over weekends and after work to enjoy the engaging parks facilities. The Blue Train Park has been in operation for more than 55 years, and is popular throughout Cape Town for its joyous atmosphere and safe, well managed facilities. Children can be delighted while riding on the fabulous mini blue train, or else there is also an interactive and exciting kiddies outdoor ice rink, where children can be active and impress their friends with their skating skills while parents cheer them on from the sides. There are also kiddies jungle gyms and play structures that can accommodate kids from the ages of 1-12. The park is open Tuesday - Sunday, 9:30 am to 6:30 pm, and is closed on Mondays. The Blue Train Park aims to bring the community together, and also to raise much needed charity funds that will go toward the Sea Point Rotary Club, who will then distribute and donate these funds to charities all over Cape Town.
