Batstone Pool

Situated on the roof of the stylish Cape Quarter Lifestyle Centre and beautifully located in the trendy and vibrant De Waterkant neighborhood of Cape Town, you will find the Batstone pool, cafe and bar. It is an unexpectedly relaxing and otherworldly experience, that elevates you from the busy city life and into a sophisticated and lavish oasis. The main feature and attraction here is the dazzling azure swimming pool, which is rather small but perfect for a dip or to cool down as you enjoy a lunch and cocktails with friends. The pool's edges comprise of comfortable seating, colourful scatter pillows and pot plants. This rooftop pool and bar area is also a fantastic spot to escape for a lunch break during work hours, where you can bring your laptop or Ipad and chill out away from the crowds while enjoying the high speed wifi, which is offered for free. Sip on strong coffee and choose from an array of delicious menu items to keep your creativity flowing and energy up, and return from your break with a positive mindset. This fantastic facility can also be hired for private functions and parties, or you can reserve a shady spot in advance by getting in touch beforehand, although you are also welcome to just show up. Opening Hours: Wednesday – Sunday: 11 am – sunset (the pool is closed on rainy days and during the winter months of July and August).
