Bonnievale

About Bonnievale
Due to the fact that Route 62, the world's longest wine route, passes through this green village, it's possible that it is less well-known than other communities in the Breede Valley. Some people are content with the fact that Bonnievale remains one of the valley's best-kept secrets and is not overrun by tourists. This region of the world, known as the Valley of Cheese and Wine, is situated on the banks of the Breede River in the shadow of the Langeberg and Riviersonderend Mountains. The Breede River offers a plethora of water sports, such as canoeing, fishing and a journey up the river on the River Goose. For those without water wings, there is also a golf course, hiking and 4x4 trails.
