This room is on the first floor of the guesthouse, with 1 bed, television, semi self-catering features, renovated en-suite bathroom and sliding doors that lead to a lounge patio, and stunning mountain views from the bed and couch.
The Mountain View Room stylishly features dark mahogany furniture and original Zimbabwean paintings. The king-size bed can be converted to twin beds should it be necessary. The room has a door that leads to the Colonial Room, making the two rooms suitable for families. The newly renovated bathroom has a bath and overhead shower. The Mountain View Room also has a microwave oven allowing guests to stay for longer periods. No smoking is allowed in this room, but smokers can make use of the lounge patio.

Newlands is an area of the Western Cape that is known for its appealing properties and easy access to the gorgeous Newlands Forest (owned and maintained by the Table Mountain National Parks Board). The area is furthermore home to the Newlands Rugby Stadium and Newlands Cricket Ground, both being venues for high profile matches.
Visitors at Riversong Guest House can explore the large collection of pubs and restaurants around the Newlands Village and the superb array of attractions in the Cavendish Square mall. Guests require a mere 10 minutes to drive to the Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens and Baxter Theatre. Approximately 20 minutes is all it will take to drive to the Cape Town International Airport, City Centre in Cape Town, the alluring Victoria & Alfred Waterfront and the well-known beaches of Camps Bay and Clifton.

Cancellation Policy
Deposit = 100% deposit for 7 days or less. For more than 8 days a 50% deposit is required with 100% payment due one month before arrival.
If cancelled for whatever reason you will be liable for full payment whether we have a deposit from you or not. Verbal and email bookings are binding as a confirmation of the booking. Companies/Travel agencies operating on a Bill back basis will also be liable to pay cancellation fees if cancelled whether we have a voucher or not. Please make sure your clients are aware of our policy before accepting our accommodation at our establishment.
We require the deposit/full payment to be paid by EFT or you need to furnish us with full credit card details to confirm the booking. Credit Card No. with expiry date and CCV no.
Like all Hotels and Guest Houses we have a Strict Cancellation policy to protect us against cancellations. We only have a few rooms and cannot make up business lost.
We have a live calendar with Nightsbridge which connects too many websites around the world giving instant online availability. Once a room is booked it is no longer available to sell on these websites.
Cancellations more than 30 days prior to visit forfeit 50% of the total booking quote.
Cancellations between 30 and 15 days prior to the visit forfeit 75% of the total booking quote.
Cancellations between 14 and 1 days prior to the visit forfeit 100% of the total booking quote.
For non-arrival/no show/premature departure 100% of total booking quoted is payable.
We do not pay third parties for any other services on your behalf. If monies are deposited into our account incorrectly we do not refund until cleared with our bank.
Child Policy:
Children under 10 years old pay 50% of Adult rate when sharing with an Adult.
Children over 10 years pay full adult rate when sharing with an Adult or when staying in their own room.
Babies under 1 year stay free.
