Trails End is a unique hotel which boasts superb accommodation and invigorating conference facilities, nestled in the centre of the beautiful Elgin Valley in Grabouw. Where adventure and health are key, this hotel offers endless mountain bike and trail running routes where you can hone your skills, or simply relax in natures garden.
Accommodation ranges from 8 guest bedrooms with separate shared bathroom facilities on the ground floor, and 8 en suite bedrooms upstairs. The guest bedrooms have shared ladies and gentlemen ablution facilities as well as a wheelchair friendly bathroom. Bedrooms vary in numbers of beds available.
Single beds are the norm throughout and can be converted into king sized beds as required. Some of the guest rooms downstairs are also equipped with double bunks. Only the best 100% percale linen is used. High quality towels are supplied for each guest. All rooms are finished with beautiful hardwood floors.
Beside the trails, you can spend the day exploring the other attractions in the beautiful Elgin Valley which includes a wonderful variety of wine farms and restaurants, as well as tourist attractions such as the Cape Canopy Tour zip line which is just a ten minutes drive away. If you would rather prefer to spend the day at the hotel, you can make use of the purpose built 20 metre, heated outdoor lap pool in the courtyard as well as a restaurant which includes healthy menu choices, fresh coffee and craft beer which is brewed on site. We also offer free Wi-Fi to all of our guests.
There is also a wellness centre within the hotel offering Pilates classes on request as well as a physiotherapist, massage therapist and a chiropractor which is great for removing all the aches and pains from a day out adventuring. Conference facilities are available for team building, seminars, lectures and training clinics.

- Travel Insurance is compulsory and should be arranged by the client in their country of origin. Insurance should cover personal injury, medical or rescue expences, repatriation, death,cancellation or curtailment, loss of baggage, money or any other personal items.
- The client agrees that the company and its members shall not be responsible for the loss or damage to property or injury or illness to the client or loss of life or consequential damages which might occur from any cause whatsoever.
Cancellation Policy
- Any cancellations up to 31 days prior to arrival: 50% of the deposit will be retained.
- Any cancellations less than 31 days prior to arrival: no deposit will be refunded.
- Outstanding balance is payable one week prior to arrival, failing which the company may treat the booking as cancelled and re allocate the vacancy.
