Tides River Lodge lies on the banks of the Breede River, near Malgas, in the Cape.

Tides Lodge is an oasis in the dry wheat-lands of the Overberg, an “off the beaten track” destination for those who enjoy something different. Tides Lodge offers Five Self catering lodges positioned right on the banks of the Breede River. Each of the self contained self catering river lodges are all meters from the water, have BBQ facility verandas and fully equipped kitchens. We provide all linen. All you need to bring is yourselves and your food. We have a riverside lapa where you can BBQ and meet other guests or book the whole lodge and have a private party.

You can enjoy sundowners in the bird watching lapa nearby or BBQ on our wind sheltered, covered veranda.The main bedroom has a stunning deck that has river views.Upstairs there are two double bedrooms both en suite with Queen size beds.Downstairs is another double room with queen size bed and a ‘singles’ room with three single beds.Ideal for a larger group Zebra Lodge has four bedrooms and sleeps 9. The kitchen is fully equipped, there is DSTV Premium and a huge fireplace for winter.
