Mountain Cabin, Tulbagh

Mountain Cabin is a self-catering wooden chalet located on a private farm, situated in the Tulbagh Wine Valley and at the foot of the Witzenberg Mountains. The cabin is comfortably furnished and offers accommodation for 4 people and is the ideal hideaway for a tranquil break from city life.

This wooden chalet consists of 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The main bedroom is a loft area and is furnished with a queen-size bed. The second bedroom is on the ground floor and is equipped with 2 single beds. The open-plan lounge and kitchen contains a fridge, a microwave, and an oven with a stove.

The lounge area leads out onto a stunning wraparound terrace that offers uninterrupted views over the valley below where you can see Springbok graze and alos of the stunning mountains.

BBQ facilites are also on the premises for those late afternoon and evening braais. There is also a small river running past the cabin giving that sense of peace and tranquitlity. Witzenberg also has a function venue where there is an outdoor swimming pool should the kids like to go for a swim.

The farm is also host to occasional Springbok and Rooihartbees which guests can see from the terrace. Mountain Cabin is located a drive from various nature reserves; 15 minutes drive from Tulbagh, Wolseley, and Ceres, and an array of outdoor activities.
