Makhato 84 Bush Lodge, Bela Bela

Makhato 84 is a bush lodge located in the Sondela Nature Reserve in the Limpopo Province, which is just out side the town of Bela-Bela. The lodge is approximately 90 minutes from Johannesburg International Airport and Sandton.

This unit can accommodate 6 - 10 guests and comprises 2 bedrooms and a loft area. The main bedroom contains a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a basin, bath and shower. The second bedroom contains 2 double bed and a private door leading out onto a small balcony. The open plan loft area contain 4 single beds and a room divider. The second and third bedroom share a bathroom with a bath.

The open plan living area is equipped with comfortable couches, a flat screen TV, full DStv coverage with a PVR and a radio. Leading out from the loft area is a wooden deck area with a table and 4 chairs, overlooking the braai area and beautiful views of the bush.

The kitchen is fully equipped. The entertainment area comprises an spacious veranda with an 8-seater dining room table, gas heater, and gas skottel braai. The veranda leads to an outdoor boma with a large braai area and rugged camping chairs.

Sondela Nature Reserve Makhato 84 offers a variety of wildlife interaction, nature walks and safaris. The reserve is teeming with Njalas and other wildlife like giraffe, blue wildebeest, zebra, warthog, mongoose and many other species.
