Loddey’s Guest House is located in the heart of the False Bay basin, one of South Africa’s leading travel destinations. Strand, originally a small fishing village, and now a bustling holiday destination with modern high rise buildings lining one of the finest beaches in the Western Cape.
Accommodation comprises of 6 spacious and beautifully furnished rooms, each with an en suite bathroom. In room amenities include air conditioning, a TV with selected DSTV channels and tea and coffee making facilities. To complement guests stay the rates include a full English breakfast and we also offer a convenient laundry service. Safe, off street parking is provided in front of the guest house.
A mixture of old and new gives Loddeys Guest Houses interior a warm and welcoming home-away-from-home ambiance. The public living room, the plush dining area with fireplace, and the sun drenched, enclosed veranda provide extra relaxation areas. The pool and braai lapa are wonderful areas to enjoy the South African sunshine and hospitality. Light lunches, dinners, and braais are available on request at the lapa.
Loddeys is within walking distance from the sea, making it the closest guest house to the beach, as well as restaurants and all amenities. It is a 45-minute drive from Cape Town International Airport.

Cancellation Policy
- If cancelled up to 30 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
- If cancelled up to 20 days before date of arrival, 25% of the total price of the reservation will be charged.
- If cancelled up to 10 days before date of arrival, 50% of the total price of the reservation will be charged.
- If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
