Khashamongo Self Catering is situated in Somerset West and provides accommodation with a stunning view of the Hottentots Holland Mountains. It is owner run and managed by Robby and Chantal Langer who assure guests of the best attention at all times.
The name Khashamongo finds its origin from the Zulu language and means: "Peaceful Home". Khashamongo has a 3 star grading from the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa which is reviewed on a yearly basis in order to maintain the high standards.
A traditional braai evening can be pre arranged with Robby, hosting guests to an evening of fun around the fire.
The crystal clear pool is temperature controlled and open from the beginning of October to the end of May. It has a depth of 2,20 m deep, and is perfect to swim in or refresh guests during those hot summer days.
A variety of deck chairs as well as a hammock is available to relax around the pool or with a good book in the shade of the palm trees. The use of the beautiful Sauna and Jacuzzi are included in the room rates.

Cancellation Policy
- In the event of guests requiring to cancel their reservation, please advise the managing agent in writing in order for the managing agent to keep the cancellation fees to a minimum.
The cancellation policy automatically applies with each booking made:
- Minimum fee for cancellation is required.
- Cancellation more than 28 days prior forfeit 10% of the total amount.
- Cancellation 21 to 28 days prior forfeit 25% of the total amount.
- Cancellation 14 to 21 days prior forfeit 50% of the total amount.
- Cancellation 7 to 14 days prior forfeit 75% of the total amount.
- Cancellation less than 7 days prior forfeit 100% of the total amount.
- In the event of premature departure the full extent of the stay as originally booked and confirmed will be charged.
