The lodge nestles in an evergreen forest. It is secluded amongst the indigenous trees. It gives a feeling of anticipation for fairies and other woodland creatures to welcome you in their beautiful surroundings. The mist creeps through the forest giving it a mystical atmosphere.

The forest gives complete privacy. It is a place where visitors can feel at one with nature. Sitting on the patios, of the Log cottage or Log Cabin, one can hear the mountain stream bubbling by. Bird parties visit as well as samango monkeys that forage in the trees. It is a peaceful place where work stress takes a back seat.

There are two different accomodations available, the Log Cottage and the Log Cabin. Each sleep four guests.

There are short walks along the mountain stream. Picturesque waterfalls may be visited. A more strenuous walk takes one up through the forest to a beautiful view of the valley. Bird enthusiasts will enjoy these walks.

Mountain Bike Cycling can be enjoyed along the forest road to the main road. This is about a 5 km return trip to the lodge.

  • The Log Cottage

    Sleeps: 4

    The Log Cottage has two double bedrooms. Both have lovely views of the outside trees. The canopy of the trees is higher than the upstairs bedroom.

    The bedrooms are comfortable and elegant giving a feeling of luxury. The one bedroom has a queen size bed. The other bedroom has a kingsize bed that can be made into two single beds. A camp cot is available if required.

    The bedrooms are both en suite. The upstairs bedroom has both a shower and a slipper bath. The downstairs bedroom has a shower. There is also an out door shower.

    - Cutlery, crockery as well as cooking pots are provided

    - A weber BBQ is provided, however you must bring your own briquettes.
    - A BBQ lapa is attached to the log Cottage .

  • The Log Cabin

    Sleeps: 4

    The log cabin is built in the forest. It is secluded, giving guests the opportunity to relax and enjoy the bird life around them.

    It has a large patio where guests can enjoy their breakfast while becoming one with nature. It has two double bedrooms en suite with outdoor showers attached. One of the bathrooms has a bath while the other has a shower. Both bedrooms have lovely views of the outside trees.

    A hair dryer is available in each of the bathrooms. The kitchenette is fully equipped.

Cancellation Policy

- In the event of a cancellation 31+ days prior to arrival date the deposit less 10% handling fee will be refunded.
- Bookings cancelled betweeb 0 to 31 days notice will forfeit the deposit.
