This small, family owned guesthouse offers its guests a home away from home atmosphere and the opportunity to relax in tranquil and intimate surroundings. We are within walking distance to the village where a host of award winning restaurants, local shops, Franschhoek monument and museum, wineries and arts and crafts await you.

Fleur du Soleil Guesthouse is located in the charming valley of Franschhoek, in the Western Cape. Only a 50 minute drive from Cape Town and within half an hour of Stellenbosch and Paarl. This small, family owned guesthouse offers its guests a home away from home atmosphere and the opportunity to relax in tranquil, intimate surroundings, while being an easy 5 minute stroll from Franschhoek’s famous main road, Huguenot Street, where a host of award winning restaurants, coffee shops and other delightful local shops and galleries await you. Also in close proximity is the Franschhoek monument and museum. The mountains are in every direction and so are the vineyards.
Our accommodation rates include our lovely country breakfast which consists of seasonal fruit salad, breakfast cereal, yogurt, muffins/croissants, cold meat & cheese and eggs to order with bacon, mushrooms and tomatoes, fruit juice, tea & filter coffee. Important Information
- 50 percent deposit is required to confirm a booking.
- Bookings made 7 days or less require full payment at the time of booking.
- Failure to comply with check in and out times will entitle Fleur du Soleil to charge for an additional night.
- No cheques accepted.
- Children from 12 yrs welcome given that guest agree to pay the adult rates.
- Rooms are subject to availability and Fleur du Soleil reserves the right to refuse any booking for good reason.
- Departures prior to the booked departure date will attract full payment of the quoted room rates for the originally booked dates
- Fleur du Soleil Guesthouse does not allow smoking in its rooms and public areas. However, smoking is permitted on the veranda and in the garden.
- Fleur du Soleil Guesthouse does not accept any responsibility for theft or for damage to the guests goods. Valuables can be kept safely in the guests room safe.
- Guests of Fleur du Soleil can freely make use of the facilities, however, the use of Fleur du Soleils facilities is at the guests own risk.
- Damage to the Fleur du Soleil building or contents thereof, caused by guest will be added to the guests bill.
No booking at Fleur du Soleil Guesthouse will be accepted if the guest does not agree with the Terms & Conditions, mentioned above. Fleur du Soleil Guest House and its staff exercise every care possible. However, we assume no liability for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity in connection with our services. Guests will also be asked to settle any extras on departure.
Cancellation Policy
- For any reservation cancelled, an administrative charge equivalent to R150.00 per room booked, will be made.
- Any reservation cancelled 14 days or less prior the date of arrival will result in 100 percent of the deposit to be forfeited.
- Any reservation cancelled within 15 - 30 days prior the date of arrival will result in 50 percent of the deposit to be forfeited.
- Any reservation cancelled 31 or more days prior the date of arrival will result in the full deposit to be refunded, but a minimum administrative fee of R150.00 will be charged per room booked.
