Edenbrook Lodge, Plettenberg Bay

- The rates are inclusive of VAT and any government taxes applicable.

- The rates include a Full Breakfast and access to all public areas.

- Please inform if visitors are to be expected, right of admission is reserved.

- Visitors may not have access to the rooms, but may be entertained in the Manor House.

- Visitors use of the pool must be by prior arrangement.

- Management is not responsible for any damage to goods and or persons visiting Edenbrook Country House.

- No pets allowed.

- Other services or products such as personal laundry, meals excluding breakfast, excursions, etc are available at an extra cost, unless otherwise specified.

- The Lodge - Self Catering rates include water, electricity and gas consumption, housekeeping, of which personal laundry is not included, and access to the dedicated areas. Please note that the pool at the Manor House is reserved only for B&B Guests.

- As a Country House, the reception is not manned at all times and the main gate is kept closed.

- If rooms are available prior to check-in time, an early check-in may be possible.

- If an early check-in is not possible, guests may leave luggage, free of charge, in the luggage storage. Management is not responsible for any loss or damage of stored luggage.

- Settlement of bills and balance due accordingly with the reservation must be cleared at Check-in time. Any extras will be billed at Check-out.

- Cooking is not permitted under no conditions inside the rooms or anywhere on the property, excluding the Self-Catering Lodge.

- Smoking is not permitted inside the rooms, the lodge or anywhere on the property.

- If a late departure from the room is not possible, guests luggage can be stored and provided with the use of the communal facilities for the day.

- Please note that Management is not responsible for any loss or damage of stored luggage.

- Luggage may not be stored for a period of over 7 days.

- Bringing goods and/or storing of any article of a combustible, or hazardous nature and/or prohibited goods, and/or goods of objectionable nature is prohibited.

- The Guest shall be solely liable and responsible to the Management, its other Guests, invitees visitors, Agents and Servants for all loss financial or otherwise and damage that may be caused by such articles or as a result of the Guests own negligence and non- observance of any instructions.

- Gambling, contraband, prostitution, weapons, explosives, flammable objects, poisons, drugs, and animals are strictly prohibited on the Country House premises.

- The Guest will be held responsible for any loss or damage to the Country House property caused by themselves, their guests or any person for whom they are responsible.

- It is agreed that the Guest will conduct him/herself in a respectable manner and will not cause any nuisance or annoyance within the Country House premise. In case of non compliance to any of the above rules, the Management has the right to request any Guest to vacate his/her room or other areas of the Country House forthwith, without previous notice, and the Guest shall be bound to vacate when requested to do so.

- In case of the default, the Management has the right to remove the Guests luggage and belongings from the room occupied by him/her.

- Nothing herein above shall continue or be deemed to constitute, or create any tenancy or sub-tenancy, or any other right to interact in the Country House premises or any part of portion thereof, in favour of any Guest or Visitor, and the Management shall always be deemed to be in full and absolute possession of the whole of the Country House premises.

- Using photographs and videos taken in the Country House for commercial purposes, is illegal, without the written consent of Management. Those who do so will be subject to prosecution.

The owners, its agents, and/or employees is not liable for:
- Any death or injury to any person or loss or damage to property, regardless of whether such death, injury, loss or damage results from negligence of the Company or from any other cause whatsoever, on the premises of the Company.

- Any person/s accompanying or in control of a minor or a person with limited capacity hereby indemnify/ies, where more than one person, jointly and severally the Company against any claim by such a minor or person arising from or in connection with his/her presence in the Companys area, including specifically without being limited there to, any claims in respect of death, injury, loss or damage, as aforementioned, and arising from any cause referred to above.

- The Management reserves the right to add, alter or amend any of the above terms, conditions and rules.
