Eastbury - Loft Apartment, Hermanus

Eastbury Cottage offers comfortable and affordable self catering and B&B accommodation in Hermanus. Four units sleep from 2 to 4 persons plus a sleeper couch. Each unit is tastefully decorated, fully equipped and has a private entrance and off street parking. Eastbury Cottage is child friendly and offers comfortable family accommodation in Hermanus at this popular and established guest house. The Courtyard Suite and Garden Cottage are pet friendly (on request) so that means the furry family can also be accommodated!

Upstairs at Eastbury Cottage, we have the spacious family Loft Suite which offers superb Hermanus accommodation in the form of an apartment. This bright and sunny family suite sleeps four very comfortably in 2 king size or 4 twin beds made to order. A sleeper couch in the lounge area is available for additional accommodation for a child, on request. The lounge and dining area leads to an outside wooden deck. Here guests may enjoy relaxed outdoor living, while soaking up the sun on warm summer days, or sipping sun downers on sultry evenings. Put guests feet up and enjoy watching TV with DSTV or a complimentary DVD movie from the library. There is a shower bathroom with an extractor fan.

The kitchenette offers self catering in the form of a bar fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle, electric frying pan and gas cooker for light meal preparation or warming up take out meals. There is a gas grill braai on the deck. Lovely views of the surrounding area and mountains can be enjoyed from this unit and makes the two bedroom Loft one of the most sought after units, especially by the “Swallow” guests from the Northern Hemisphere. When the smaller units are fully booked, we shall be happy to consider accommodating only 2 people in the Loft at a reduced rate. We let the Loft Suite as a whole apartment and do not let the rooms individually.

Hermanus, only 75 minutes’ drive from the Cape Town International Airport, is known as the Capital of the Cape Whale Coast Route and offers magnificent natural scenery, a mild Mediterranean climate, hundreds of attractions and things to do that will keep guests enthralled for many days. Many of the guests return to the comfort of Eastbury Cottage year after year, like “Swallows” escaping the icy cold Northern Hemisphere.
