Cascades on the Promenade is a fine boutique hotel situated along the Atlantic Seaboard in Seapoint, Cape Town. The concept of this eight-room city hotel is to offer young at heart travellers an ideal base from which to explore Cape Town and surroundings.
The ideal guest for Cascades on the Promenade is the well informed traveller who, when visiting Cape Town, is not per se interested in spending money on superfluous luxuries such as a swimming pool, spa, or large opulent lounge facilities. Our traveller is interested and anxious to discover Cape Town for what it is; a bustling, vibrant and incredibly beautiful city, brimming with activities and diversity. Our traveller has little time to lose here and is not immediately in the mood to linger at the side of the pool. He or she wants to get up and about after a good night’s rest in a perfectly equipped and softly furnished room.
Breakfast would await our traveller in the cosy hotel bistro or outside on the terrace. The hotel is superbly positioned for immediate action, whether its a vigorous jog along Cape Town’s magnificent Seaboard, right on our doorstep, a two-minute walk to the Olympic-size, open-air, seaside swimming pool, or an even shorter stroll to Main Road to catch a ride to Table Mountain, the Clifton or Camps Bay beaches, or the V&A Waterfront. The hotel is housed in a Cape Dutch-style, 100-year old heritage building. An extensive renovation has transformed the original structure into a very modern, trendy place with distinct international flair. Our guest will immediately recognize the spot as a trendsetter, definitely on par with other leading small design hotels sprinkled around the larger cities of Europe or the States.
The rooms are compact, but complete, with the latest on offer in hotel technology being incorporated in the design and furnishings. Large walk-in rain showers with thermostatic taps and heated towel rails, state-of-the art 40" LED TV screens, video-on-demand, international plugs, telephones, electronic safes, well functioning climate control systems, and Wi-Fi access are hotel standards to be expected. In addition, every room at Cascades on the Promenade features its own Apple Mac computer with free Internet access, a Bose i-Pod docking station, CD player, minibar, and a Nespresso coffee machine.
All Deluxe Rooms boast outside balconies with seating arrangements, while the Standard Rooms have glass doors to the outside only. Night-time security is provided directly to the guest through automated roller shutters in the rooms, and in general through a 24-hour attendance at reception as well as closed circuit cameras in the public areas.
Bright yellow Vitra tub chairs on the terrace, black leather upholstering inside the bistro, copper leaf and rich walnut wall panelling, Tom Dixon design lighting, and a Samsung video wall for entertainment - the combination of these elements create the ideal setting where we offer our guests fine, contemporary cuisine throughout the day. On the menu are light snacks and refreshing salads, from a choice of pasta to fresh fish or a prime cut of succulent beef fillet.

25% deposit is required at the time of the booking and the balance is due 30 days prior to the arrival date.
Cancellation Policy
The following cancellation fees shall be applicable and shall be calculated by reference to funds received at that point.
Should the booking be cancelled 31 days or more prior to the check in date, a cancellation fee of 20% of the deposit will be charged.
Should the booking be cancelled 30 days or less prior to the check in date, 100% of the funds paid will be charged
