Avian Leisure has a magnificent location, at the top of Froggy Farm in Simons Town. It overlooks False Bay and is set amidst pristine Cape Fynbos - this means you can see whales, fur seals, penguins, sunbirds, sugar birds and a host of other birds right from your bedroom! An added delight is the regular night-time view of porcupines coming to the garden pond!

Avian Leisure’s location in Cape Town makes it the perfect accommodation for going on Cape Peninsula birding trips, pelagic birding trips, shark trips, whale watching trips, or just enjoying the natural beauty of Table Mountains National Park.

Accommodation is offered in one spacious and modern apartment with its own private entrance and ample off road parking. Watsonia is a one bedroomed apartment, with twin beds and a bathroom with a large shower.

The light and airy living room features a small, but well equipped kitchenette that includes a fridge, a microwave, a hob, crockery and cooking equipment. There is a television in the lounge and the garden access provides stunning sea and mountain views.

Laundry service is available in the village. All towels and linen are provided and are changed twice a week. The apartment is serviced twice a week.

Simons Town itself is a charming and historic village offering warm hospitality and a relaxed atmosphere. There are a variety of good restaurants and shops in and around the village, safe, sheltered bathing beaches on the warm water side of the Peninsula and access to a myriad of activities, experiences and sights.
