17 On Wellington Suites offers Self-Catering as well as Bed and Breakfast accommodation in the picturesque town of George, in the heart of South Africa’s Garden Route. Full English breakfasts and a continental breakfast buffet are served in the bright dining room or around the sparkling pool. Lunch and dinner is available on request, making 17 On Wellington Suites not only comfortable and affordable, but also the practical home away from home for leisure and business travellers.
Accommodation offers a selection of 9 Standard Single Rooms. Each room has an en-suite bathroom with a shower, a work station, free WiFi, a flat screen TV with DSTV, fans and heaters. Each room has its own private entrance.
Guests vehicles will be safe in the secure, gated, on-site parking and with limited free WiFi available, the conferencing facility can comfortably host up to 12 delegates. The town of George offers easy access to neighbouring Mossel Bay, Knysna, Oudtshoorn and the fantastic tourist attractions of the Garden Route.
Besides being within walking distance of some of the excellent restaurants in George, 17onWellington Suites is also the perfect base for golfing trips, visiting family, inter-school or sport activities, joining the fun of one of George’s many events, as a sanctuary in between hospital visits, or for simply enjoying your vacation.

- Following an availability check, reservations must be made in writing to the managing agents reservations office.
Once confirmed, all reservations are subject to the Terms and Conditions below:
- For one nights stay: Full deposit required.
- Peak holidays - December, Easter and special events: Full pre-payment required.
- For last minute reservations, a full payment is required prior to or on the day of arrival.
- For late check-ins, payment is required the following day by 10:00.
- All prices featured are subject to change without prior notice.
- Cash and all major credit cards are accepted, regretfully no AMEX, Diners club cards and cheques.
- Accommodation is only confirmed once the deposit has been received.
- Guests are asked to keep in mind that once a room is booked it is no longer available to sell online.
- However for large bookings that requires 3 or more rooms and or peak holidays: refunds will be given once the rooms are rented out again.
- Please advise reservations of late/early-arrivals so arrangements can be made.
- Reception hours are from 07:00am to 19:00pm daily.
- Additional guests services are available: from picnic baskets to special activities, wellness treatment packages, Honeymoon packages.
- Airport transfers is at additional cost.
- Breakfast ranges from healthy options to a full English breakfast.
- Only the standard room includes breakfast in the room rate.
- Should guests reserve a suite breakfast will be charged extra for adults and children under the age of 9. Children under 4 years is free of charge.
- There are lunch and dinner options available. Dinner vouchers for 5 different restaurants are also available.
- The conference facility caters for up to 14 delegates, the suites are 12 seated and the reception dining area is ideal for a corporate function, meeting or incentive event. These can be set up in the usual configurations, such as: U-shaped Cinema style and Classroom style. A custom arrangement can also be arranged, according to guests specifications and budget.
- For guests convenience, the use of the following equipment could be arranged: a Flip chart and Markers Sweets, water pull down screens and Audio visual equipment. Any extra requirements can be arranged at a nominal cost.
- Please note, 8 of the apartment suites and rooms are accessible by climbing stairs. If any guests have a problem climbing steps, please notify managementt when making a reservation, as alternative rooms/suites cannot be guarantee on arrival.
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations must be made in writing.
- Full refund if cancellation occurs 36 hours before reservation date.
- No refund will be given for non-arrival and no show guests: 100% of total booking quoted is payable.
