14 Penguin Place Melkbosstrand offers comfortable accommodation with sea views, situated within a residential house right on the Melkbosstrand beach front. The house offers direct access to the beach.
Since 14 Penguin Place has its own water source, guests are free to bath and shower without any restrictions whatsoever. There are 2 rooms and each room has its own fully equipped kitchenette as well as sea views. Although 14 Penguin Place is self-catering, a complimentary, basic breakfast consisting of a choice of four cereals, fruit juice, coffee and tea is included in the room price.
The Deluxe Double Room can accommodate 2 guests in a queen-sized bed. It has an en-suite bathroom with a bath and shower. The bedroom is equipped with flat screen TV, WiFi, air-conditioning, DSTV and towels. Guests are required to bring their own beach towels.
The Deluxe Tripple Room can accommodate 4 guests on twin single beds and a standard double bed. This bedroom has an en-suite shower, a washbasin and a separate toilet. This bedroom is equipped with a flat screen TV, WiFi, air-conditioning, DSTV and bath towels.
Guests are welcome to utilise the swimming pool and braai facilities on the property and also have access to a washing machine and drier. There is a MyCiTi bus stop situated within walking distance from the house. Smoking is not permitted. Undercover parking is available on the premises.

Important Information
House rules:
- No wet towels or wet clothing to be hung on security or pool gates. Please use washing line, or ask for clothes horse.
- No guest house property whatsoever to be removed from the premises under any circumstances.
- Please do not remove duvet covers from duvet inners, or indeed any bedding, on departure.
- Towels provided by guesthouse should under no circumstances be used at swimming pool or taken down to the beach.
- The establishment is pet friendly, subject to prior arrangement only.
- No animals are allowed in the swimming pool.
- Pets are also not allowed on beds and couches.
- Bedding for pets can be provided at no extra charge.
- Guests are under no circumstances allowed to invite their own guests to braai and swim at the guest house without seeking the landlady’s prior permission.
- No non-paying guest shall stay overnight at the guesthouse.
- For safety reasons, use of the fire-place in Another Room with a Sea View is totally forbidden.
- For their own sake, please refrain from feeding the two black-and-tan Dachshunds.
- Room cleaning only done on request.
- Linen shall be changed every five days.
- Before departure, all dishes and utensils should be washed and left on the drying rack.
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations 7 days or less before arrival: 100% of booking total.
- Cancellations 8 to 14 days before arrival: 100% of deposit.
- Cancellations 15 to 21 days before arrival: 50% of deposit.
- Cancellations 22 to 30 days before arrival: 25% of deposit.
