Get ready whisky connoisseurs for the FNB Whisky Live Showroom at The Lookout in June. This event forms part of the FNB Whisky Live Festival, a national event taking place throughout the year with the main event occurring in Sandton in November, later this year. One showroom already took place in Durban in April and the Pretoria showroom is due later this month. Cape Town will get its turn to host the event with the FNB Whisky Live Showroom taking place from the 18th to the 20th of June at The Lookout in Granger Bay.

What can you expect at this showroom? The Whisky Live Showrooms are exceptional, handcrafted events that showcase some of the finest local and international whiskies, presented by the world’s leading experts. Visitors can expect favourites such as Chivas Regal and The Glenvliet, a selection displaying the key flavours within the whisky category in Brandhouse’s comprehensive portfolio, as well as newer brands that have not been announced yet.

Additional elements that enhance these showrooms include complementary products, such as top-of-the-range fragrances including Jean Paul Gaultier and van Cleef and Arpels (just to name a few), high-quality cigars from The Cigar Club and a choice of Twisp’s Electronic Cigarettes.

GENERAL ACCESS TICKETS – R 170.00 (Online and at the door)
Ticket grants general access to the venue; 15 whisky tasting vouchers; a whisky tasting glass; a copy of the SA Whisky Handbook 2015 and a bottle of Still Valpré Spring Water. Further values of these tickets that may be redeemed at the showroom are R20 cash back or 5 additional tasting vouchers if signing up to join the Whisky Live Festival Club. DESIGNATED DRIVER – R 105.00 (Online and at the door)
The designated driver ticket grants general access and a bottle of Valpré Spring Water. Those who purchase this ticket will not be entitled to the tasting glass/ Handbook/ tasting vouchers, but will give their friends peace of mind.
