Alert holidaymakers! A new and cheaper airline will launch in South Africa next month, on the 5th of March, promising more opportunities to explore not only the lovely city of Cape Town, but also the rest of the gorgeous country of South Africa. With the cost of flights in South Africa becoming even more competitive, travellers will surely be tempted to spend a little more to get a completely satisfying vacation experience.
This new airline, known as Skywise, is one of the latest to join the low-cost airline uprising that began with the likes of Kulula.com and Mango Airlines. Skywise will commence travelling with two daily flights between the Cape Town International Airport and the OR Tambo International airport in Johannesburg. While that put limits on your hopes to explore the many hotspots of South Africa, the airline has promised that it is due to make expansions in the 3 months following the launch, adding routes to Durban.
Explore all of South Africa!
With Skywise bringing more choices of transport around South Africa, especially when you’re trying to make the most out of your holiday budget, holiday seekers would surely be tempted to spend more time in this colourful country. While attractions such as Table Mountain and the V&A Waterfront will be definite destinations on most tourists’ lists, now they can include a visit to the historic Constitution Hill in Johannesburg and the Cradle of Mankind which is not far, to the north of South Africa’s provincial capital, as well as the beaches of Durban, known locally as the Golden Mile.
