The Striped Horse Bar & Grill

One of the new and exciting editions to Muizenberg's attractive beach-front restaurant scene, The Striped Horse Bar & Grill opened in 2016 and is a modern and somewhat rustic eatery with an eclectic indie vibe, where great crafts beers and a revolutionary wine list are on offer to guests, and pub meals are the order of the day. Muizenberg's restaurant scene has only improved over the last few years and The Striped Horse has set the standard. The ambiance of this eatery is lively and authentic, where the dark and heavy furnishing and artsy underground decor are appealing to the eye. Oftentimes, The Striped Horse hosts amazing live music performances as well as engaging weekly jam sessions to showcase local talents and connect those who have a passion for music, as onlookers have a great time socializing over great food and beer. This fun eatery is known for its hospitality and great service. The meals are mostly grills, burgers, prego rolls and casual meals that suite the chilled atmosphere - the trendy chalkboard menu usually features about 10 meals and pub delights at a time. This is the perfect spot to catch up with friends for lunch or to unwind over an ice cold brew as the evening rolls in. There is outdoor and indoor seating available to diners, or even seating at the vibey bar area. Table bookings or walk-ins are welcome. Opening hours: Open everyday except Mondays. Tuesday-Saturday 12 am to 1 pm, Sunday 11 am to 6 pm.
